Dear Friends of Cornell Meteorology,
Greetings from Cornell! As Co-Presidents of the Cornell Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (CCAMS), it is our pleasure to invite you to our Sixth Annual Alumni Weekend. The past five alumni weekends have been a great success, and we hope that you will join us this year. The events will take place on Friday, April 25th to Saturday, April 26th. The cost is $15 per person or $25 for couples. (Please see RSVP form below for further info)
We will kick off the weekend with a reception in the 11th floor of Bradfield on Friday night. This will be a great time for you to catch up with old friends and to mingle with the current Cornell Meteorology students and faculty. Hors d’Ouevres will be served. On Saturday, there will be an alumni panel discussion where you may share your experiences and life lessons with the current students. Your thoughts and insight will be greatly appreciated, so we encourage you to participate. In the afternoon, there will be a casual barbeque, hosted by our very own Grillmaster Mark Wysocki. The weekend will conclude with a get-together in Collegetown that night.
At the bottom of this letter is a detailed schedule of the Alumni Weekend events, an RSVP form, and an apparel order form. Please return the RSVP by Friday, April 4th. Please return the apparel form by Friday, March 28th. You may email the apparel order to Pat Meyers at pcm28@cornell.edu. Make sure to include color and size where applicable.
While you are here, you will be able to hear about the many exciting activities in which CCAMS is involved. We look forward to your attendance at this year’s Alumni Weekend. This is such a special event for uniting the past and present of Cornell Meteorology. Your past experiences in Bradfield and your current successes in the field have uniquely shaped the current reputation of our program, and we would love to hear your stories.
