CCAMS Mailing Lists
The Cornell Chapter of the American Meteorological Society uses 2 distinct mailing lists to communicate with our members, our alumni, the Cornell campus, and the rest of our community.

  • FORECAST-L@cornell.edu: Emails are sent out to this mailing list twice a day, from September through May, with the student-written WeatherPhone forecasts (also available on this site). CCAMS students write these local forecasts and discussions for the Ithaca, NY area every morning and afternoon on weekdays, and once on Saturday and Sunday. This mailing list is intended for anybody with an interest in Ithaca, NY weather.

  • CCAMS-L@cornell.edu: This mailing list is primarily intended for members of the CCAMS and our alumni. Emails are sent out as needed with information about club meetings, activities, events, our minutes, and other relevant information.
